The first district of Paris is a sort of tourist's Paradise. The Louvre Museum, with its gorgeous collection, attracts travellers from all over the world. Instead of the largest market named "Les Halles" took place a huge complex where it is impossible not to stop by. Discover Saint Eustache Church, the tower Saint Jacques, the Hotel de Ville de Paris, the round building of the Produce exchange and the Georges Pompidou Center (Beaubourg).
In this area you'll find many interesting sights and museums. It is home to some of Paris' most famous landmarks including the Palais du Louvre and its ornate Tuileries gardens, Sainte Chappelle, famous for its stained glass, and the chic Place Vendôme. This area is above all a "day-time" quarter, full of shops and business centers. During the evening, the first district starts to be animated with a mixture of bars and restaurants equipped for all tastes.
